About Us
H-O-U-S-E...
Before I was old enough to put a name to it, I knew there was a certain rhythm that made me happy like no other. It was just a little bit faster than the usual dance music and the base was a little more "juicy."
I can't have been much older than 11 when Loleatta Holloway released "Love Sensation" about 1980, but by the time I was living in London in my early 20s, I discovered Black Box's "Ride On Time" and realized that there was a name for the music I loved, and that name was HOUSE.
From Chicago, to New York, to London, Paris and Sydney the sound that is "house" has spread around the world.
The classics, the funk, and the deep, smooth vocals are loved from generation X to generation Y... and are sure to be loved for many more generations to come.
Just when I think that house has had it's day...a new mix will come up and bite me on the arse. I can't help it...give me four to the floor any day...
